Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record that meets the minimum requirements of the company's insurance provider.Ī Driver delivers products to stores on an established route or via dynamic dispatch to customers.Ability to drive material handling equipment (forklift).Ability to complete overnight travel to meet delivery requirements.Basic knowledge and use of hand tools and moving equipment.Ability to lift between 75 and 100 pounds of material unassisted and on a regular basis.Follow all Safety rules and regulations.Handles product properly and reports damage to warehouse manager and/or warehouse foreman.Returns empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise by making appropriate collections from customers.Collect payment from customers and reconcile the assigned load with receipts and delivery invoice.Provides customer service by listening and resolving customer concerns.Makes safe delivery of product in all weather conditions.Makes deliveries of appliances by driving delivery truck to specific customers and unloading truck.Maintains safe vehicle and conditions and protects load by complying with organization policies, procedures, highway rules and regulations. ![]() Determines condition of vehicle by inspecting vehicle before and after use logging inspection reporting requirements.Prepares parcels for mailing, UPS or other delivery services.Drives material handling equipment to transport stored items from warehouse area to desired location or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer orders.Records amount of materials or items received or distributed.This position with the primary responsibility to safely drive straight vehicle to deliver expeditiously and accurately. We are currently seeking a skilled candidate to succeed in the role of Driver. Currently hold a valid DOT Medical Card or can obtain prior to hire.
